Winter Essential Packs 2024
In 2024, as the cold winter months approached, we launched our Winter Essentials Project to offer urgent relief to families facing extreme hardship. With the generous support of our donors, we were able to raise enough funds to provide a month's worth of food supplies and essential winter items to 17 families in desperate need. These families, struggling to make ends meet, were able to find comfort and warmth during the harsh winter, knowing they were not alone. From warm blankets and nourishing supplies, we brought a sense of hope and security to those who needed it most.
Emergency Winter Appeal 2024
In the district we served, there were 23 families in urgent need, and we initially prepared 17 packages, assuming that number would be enough. However, when we realized there were more families to help, we refused to let anyone go without support. In just 24 hours, we appealed for additional funds, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to provide packages to the remaining families. No family was left behind, and every household received the warmth and nourishment they desperately needed.
Sponsor an Orphanage
Our first project of 2025 was one that touched our hearts deeply—sponsoring an entire orphanage during the sacred month of Ramadan. Through the unwavering support of our donors, we were able to provide all the essential supplies for the children, ensuring they had everything they needed to get through the month with dignity and comfort. From food to sanitisation, and everything in between, we made sure that these children, who have already faced so many challenges, would not have to worry about their basic needs during this special time.
Ramadan; Feed The Fasting Appeal
During Ramadan, we launched an urgent appeal to raise funds for individuals facing desperate hardship, with no basic supplies to open or close their fasts. As the holy month began, we knew that many were struggling without the essential food and necessities to break their fasts or start their days. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our supporters, we were able to provide immediate relief to 20 families, ensuring they could observe Ramadan with the dignity they deserve. The funds raised allowed us to distribute food packages, dates, and other crucial items, bringing hope and nourishment to those who needed it most during this sacred time of reflection and prayer.
Sponsor an Orphan Appeal
As a special gesture of celebration and appreciation for their strength during the month of Ramadan, we launched a fundraising campaign to provide orphans with Eid clothes as gifts for completing the fast. With the help of our generous donors, we were able to offer these children a moment of joy and dignity, ensuring they had new clothes to wear on Eid, marking the end of Ramadan. This small act of kindness brought smiles to their faces and reminded them that they are loved and valued, filling their hearts with happiness as they celebrated this important occasion.
